THE END
The end of WWI came about when the Allies (Serbia, France, Great Britain, Italy, Russia, the United States) gained the advantage against the Central Powers (Austria-Hungary, Germany, Bulgaria, and the Ottoman Empire). Once the U.S. decided to enter the war, they immediately mobilized, rallied troops, and left for Europe. The arrival of U.S. troops in Europe gave the Allies the little push they needed to pull the win. With the Central Powers' surrender, the Paris Peace conference was planned.
At the Paris Peace conference, representatives for the Allies met with Central Powers' representatives to discuss options for treaties. Each country however, had its own motives and goals for the meeting. Britain wished to ensure France's security, settle territorial disputes, and remove the German High Seas Fleet; America wanted to establish a liberal and diplomatic world; France simply wanted to weaken Germany militarily, strategically and economically.
As a result of the Peace Treaties (Treaty of Versailles, Treaty of Saint-Germain, Treaty of Neuilly, Treaty of Trianon, Treaty of Sèvres), Germany lost its colonies, and had to Return Alsace-Lorraine to France, give Eupen and Malmedy to Belgium, give up Sheleswig to Denmark, and give West Prussia and 2/5 of upper Silesia to Poland. France obtained control of the Rhineland, compensation, and the Saar coalfields; Britain obtained the German High Seas Fleet, German and Turkish Empires, and freedom of the seas.

Europe AFTER WWI
Middle East After WWI
After the Peace Treaties, the Ottoman Empire is broken up and European explorers begin poking around. Europe takes over all the oil in Mesopotamia and begin to sell it. Jewish settlements are founded and new countries are established. Animosity towards the British and French still occurs due to lack of independence. Tribal lands are ignored, and boundary lines are often smudged, America takes ahold of oil land and oil refineries are opened.
